Non-intervention principle: read-only on your equipment

UAI's acquisition agent operates with minimal privileges: in the vast majority of cases, it only reads telemetry — it never writes to or modifies an asset's configuration. The only control actions (like turning an HVAC unit on or off) are enabled explicitly and narrowly during implementation, with full traceability of every change.
